Is my data private?
Yes. Your expenses live in your own account and on your device. Kharcha is built for individuals tracking their own money — there is no employer, admin, or approver who can see your data.
Do I stay logged in?
Yes. Sessions are durable — once you log in you stay signed in for weeks across app updates, so you are not asked to log in every time.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Kharcha is offline-first. You can add expenses with no connection and they sync automatically when you are back online.
Is this a reimbursement or approval tool?
No. Kharcha is deliberately a personal record — there are no claims, approvals, or manager workflows. It is your own private log of work spend.
Can I export my expenses?
Yes. You can export everything as CSV, or create a tidy PDF/CSV summary for any date range, category, or client.
Is it built for India?
Yes. It uses INR, Indian number formatting (lakh/crore), the financial year, and supports GST/tax notes and mileage at your own rate.
How do I install it on my phone?
Open kharcha-47u.pages.dev in your mobile browser and choose ‘Add to Home Screen’. It then opens full-screen like a native app.
